Ivan and Gabriel Broggini: Two brothers, both with a natural talent for songwriting.

 

Ivan’s passion was the guitar from the very beginning. Gabriel played keyboards and drums, but soon picked up the guitar and discovered his passion for singing too. At an early age, both brothers were already playing in their own bands and were spending hours practicing in their father’s practice room.

 

Soon the brothers decided to form a band of their own and write songs together.

 

Thus they established the inFinity project. Their first single, entitled "Without Identity", made it to the charts, and the corresponding video clip was broadcasted by several television stations including VIVA.

 

Meanwhile the band was re- named “Sinplus”. The two brothers recorded a new EP entitled "Get Control", produced in Zurich featuring a single entitled "1984", which is included in a prestigious Californian compilation.

 

At that point, the brothers felt the need for a change of scene and so set off for LA where they recorded another EP entitled "Happy and Free". The single was aired on various Swiss and Italian radio stations and the video clip was broadcasted in both countries.

 

Meanwhile, the brothers wrote "Shoot", a track that became one of the official anthems of the 2009 World Hockey Championships. Their song was included in a compilation featuring the top names of the Swiss music business. Furthermore, Sinplus were given the chance to perform in front of thousands of people at various ice rinks.

 

At the end of 2011 Sinplus were chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the single "Unbreakable".

 

On May 18th 2012 the duo released  their first LP entitled "DISINFORMATION", featuring eleven tracks (Warner Central Europe) and soon after they partecipated in the Eurovision Song Contest performing in front of 25000 people and a TV audience of millions.

 

By 2012, Sinplus had a lot of fans and perfomed all around Europe.

 

The brothers are currently working on their new album.

Deux frères, mais aussi deux musiciens avec une forte veine musicale. 
Ivan et Gabriel commencent à jouer de la musique très tôt. Ivan est un mordu de guitare, tandis que Gabriel s’essaie au clavier et à la batterie, avant de découvrir sa voix et de choisir à son tour la guitare. Vers 13-14 ans, les deux frères ont chacun leur groupe et passent des heures dans les locaux de répétition de leur père.

Après le lycée, Gabriel part pour San Diego aux Etats-Unis, où il fréquente la scène musicale underground de la ville. À son retour, les deux frères décident de travailler ensemble, donnant naissance au groupe inFinity. Leur premier titre, «Without Identity», entre dans les hit-parades ; le clip vidéo est diffusé par plusieurs chaînes de télévision, y compris VIVA. Le groupe remporte plusieurs concours et chante sur des scènes helvétiques prestigieuses, Kofmehl, Dynamo, etc.
Le groupe se rebaptise «Sinplus» et les deux frères enregistrent un nouveau maxi, «Get Control»; produit à Zurich, le single «1984» est intégré à une prestigieuse compilation californienne. 

Les frères Broggini, qui ont envie de changer d’air, font le voyage de Los Angeles pour enregistrer le maxi «Happy and Free». Le titre, mais aussi le clip vidéo, passe sur les stations radio en Suisse et en Italie.
Leur chanson « Shoot » devient l’hymne de la Coupe du monde de hockey sur glace 2009. En plus d’apparaître dans la compilation à laquelle participent des pointures telles que Krokus, Sinplus se produit dans les patinoires du monde entier, comme la BernArena, devant des milliers de spectateurs.
Sinplus a été choisi le 10 décembre 2011 pour représenter la Suisse à l’Eurovision Song Contest 2012 qui aura lieu à Bakou, en Azerbaïdjan. Titre de la chanson : «Unbreakable».
Ivan et Gabriel viennent de terminer l'enregistrement des 11 morceaux de leur premier album «Disinformation», attendu pour la fin avril 2012.
Ils sont actuellement en tournée en Europe.

Sie sind Brüder, begeisterte Musiker und auffallend begabte Komponisten.
Ivan und Gabriel machten schon in frühster Jugend Musik. Ivan verliebte sich sofort in die Gitarre, während Gabriel Keyboard und Schlagzeug spielte, dann aber seine Singstimme entdeckte. Mit dreizehn und vierzehn Jahren hatten beide ihre eigene Band und verbrachten ganze Tage im Übungsraum ihres Vaters.
Nach Schulabschluss beschloss Gabriel, nach San Diego zu reisen, wo er die Underground-Musikszene kennenlernte. Nach seiner Rückkehr gründeten die beiden Brüder ihre eigene Band und begannen gemeinsam Songs zu schreiben. Das war der Beginn von inFinity. Ihre erste Single "Without Identity" schaffte es in die Charts, und der dazugehörige Videoclip wurde von verschiedenen Fernsehsendern ausgestrahlt, unter anderem von VIVA. Die Band gewann mehrere grosse Wettbewerbe und trat in den wichtigsten Konzertlokalen der Schweiz auf, zum Beispiel in Kofmehl und Dynamo.
In der Zwischenzeit hatten sie ihrer Band einen neuen Namen gegeben: “Sinplus”. Die beiden Brüder nahmen die neue EP "Get Control" auf. Sie wurde in Zürich produziert und enthielt die Single "1984", die in eine renommierte kalifornische Kompilation aufgenommen wurde.
Die beiden Musiker beschlossen, sich neue Anregungen zu holen. Sie gingen nach Los Angeles, wo sie die EP "Happy and Free" aufnahmen. Die Single und der entsprechende Videoclip wurden von mehreren schweizerischen und italienischen Radio- und Fernsehstationen gesendet.
Als Nächstes schrieben die Brüder "Shoot", einen Song, der zu einer der Hymnen der Eishockey-Weltmeisterschaft von 2009 wurde. Er figuriert zusammen mit Songs von Musikern wie Krokus auf einer Kompilation. Nun konnte Sinplus in verschiedenen Stadien vor Tausenden von Zuschauern auftreten, unter anderem in der Bern Arena.
Am 10. Dezember 2011 wurde Sinplus zum Schweizer Vertreter am Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku in Aserbaidschan gewählt, wo die Band den Song "Unbreakable" präsentieren wird.
Vor kurzem hat das Duo seine erste LP mit dem Titel "DISINFORMATION" aufgenommen. Sie zählt elf Lieder und wird Ende April 2012 auf den Markt kommen.
Zurzeit befindet sich Sinplus auf einer Konzerttournee quer durch Europa.

Due fratelli, due musicisti, e una spiccata vena compositiva. Ivan e Gabriel cominciano a suonare sin da piccoli. Ivan s'innamora subito della chitarra, mentre Gabriel, dopo aver strimpellato keyboards e batteria scopre la chitarra e soprattutto la sua voce. All'età di 13/14 anni ognuno ha già la sua band ed entrambi cominciano a passare le giornate nel locale prova del padre.
Finito il liceo, Gabriel prende un anno sabbatico e parte per l'America, destinazione San Diego, dove ha la possibilità di saggiare la scena musicale underground della città. Al suo ritorno, i due fratelli decidono di unire le forze e danno così il via al progetto inFinity. Il primo singolo «Without Identity» entra nelle Charts ed il rispettivo videoclip viene trasmesso da varie emittenti televisive, tra cui VIVA. Oltre a vincere diversi concorsi, la band ha così la possibilità di esibirsi nei principali locali svizzeri (Kofmehl, Dynamo, ecc.).
Nel frattempo il progetto cambia nome, da inFinity a «Sinplus», e contemporaneamente i due registrano un nuovo EP, «Get Control» prodotto a Zurigo, il cui singolo «1984» entra a far parte di una prestigiosa compilation californiana.
A questo punto i due fratelli hanno bisogno di respirare aria nuova e decidono di partire per L.A., la mecca dello spettacolo, dove registrano un'altro EP, «Happy and Free». Il singolo viene trasmesso da varie emittenti svizzere ed italiane, così come il videoclip.
Nello stesso anno i fratelli scrivono «Shoot», canzone che diventa uno degli inni del Mondiale di Hockey 2009. Oltre a far parte della rispettiva compilation, insieme a gente del calibro dei Krokus, i Sinplus si esibiscono nelle varie piste di ghiaccio, tra cui la BernArena, davanti a migliaia di persone.
Il 10 dicembre 2011 i Sinplus sono stati prescelti per rappresentare la Svizzera all’Eurovision Song Contest 2012 a Baku, in Azerbaigian, con il loro singolo «Unbreakable».
In questo momento Ivan e Gabriel hanno appena concluso la registrazione del loro primo LP «DISINFORMATION», che contiene 11 brani e che uscirà a fine aprile 2012. Attualmente i Sinplus sono in tournée europea.
